This month, I’ve learned how important it is to adapt my tone and structure depending on the audience and purpose of the message. When writing professional emails or business proposals I now understand how to balance being concise while also delivering enough context to make the message clear and persuasive. In future classes, I can use these skills to craft stronger, more polished assignments that feel professional and intentional. Looking further ahead, I know these same skills will help me as I build my career in the entertainment and music industries. Whether I’m pitching a record label, writing contracts, or developing press releases, understanding how to connect with the audience whether that’s an investor, artist, or partner. This will set me apart and give my communication more impact. I’ve realized that every piece of writing whether formal or casual shapes how people see me and
my brand. I treated professional and social writing as two completely separate things. Now, I
see how even my social media posts are a reflection of my professionalism and creativity. I’ve
started being more intentional with my tone online, making sure my captions and updates show personality but also align with my goals as a business owner and music producer.
Writing is like branding, it’s the way I express myself can build trust, credibility, and connection with my audience.

I already see AI as a powerful tool to save time and improve quality. In my career, I can use AI to brainstorm creative marketing content, generate professional documents like proposals and contracts, and assist in editing press kits or blog posts. Beyond writing, AI can be a huge advantage in music production. It helps with mixing suggestions, sound design ideas, or even generating visuals for album art. I don’t see AI replacing my creativity, but I do see it as a partner that helps me focus on high level ideas while it handles some of the repetitive or time consuming task. My greatest strength as a writer is my ability to create a voice that feels both authentic and professional. This month I’ve improved at blending creativity with structure when it comes to professional writing like pitches or letters. I’ve learned how to take my natural storytelling ability and apply it to more formal contexts, which helps me stand out. I also feel more confident organizing my thoughts so my writing flows better and gets straight to the point without losing personality.
